There were a couple themes in offshore fishing last week, one was weather, another was anglers taking a break after the MidAtlantic and other tournaments and of course mahi! For most of last week the weather made offshore fishing a little challenging to downright uncomfortable, but that did not prevent some boats from braving the chop and heading out anyway. For those that did get out, they were rewarded with very strong mahi catches and some nice tuna.
