Dune Road to close temporarily in May

Beginning May 12th, all of Dune Road, which provides access to Herring Point from the ocean, will be closed for approximately one week. This will enable construction work to be completed on the Gordons Pond Trail and associated parking lot, which is scheduled to open in June.

Some of the improvements to Dune Road will include paving and striping, as well as completion of work on the new parking area at Herring Point.

Dune Road is scheduled to reopen on May 19th.
