The Town of Ocean City opened a new boat ramp on 64th Street and the Bay adjacent to the town’s Public Works complex.
The ramp is operational 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and 365 days a year. Launching and retrieving of boats is free and pay-to-park rates are $2.00 per hour from April 1st through October 31st. Parking is free during the off-season. Vehicles can be left in the lot overnight.
Parking spaces are 50-feet in length and able to accomodate a vehicle and trailer.
The channel has been dredged and has approximately 3-feet of draw at low tide.
The Town also offers a public boat ramp at 87th Street and Bering Road. Annual passes for this ramp cost $50 and can be purchased at City Hall. There is no on-site parking for the 87th Street Ramp.
