MD closed cobia fishery from Jan 1 to April 30

The secretary of the Maryland Department of Natural Resources pursuant to the Code of Maryland Regulations and C, announces that the recreational cobia fishery will be closed from 12:01 a.m. Jan. 1 through 11:59 p.m. April 30, 2019.

In order to implement the Atlantic States Marine Fisheries Commission’s Interstate Fishery Management Plan for Cobia, the department will establish the season, catch limit and minimum size for the recreational cobia fishery for the remainder of 2019 in a later notice.
